About Me

Aditi Malhotra

Hi, Welcome to my webpage.

I am Aditi Malhotra. I am a Co-Editor for the Journal for Intelligence, Propaganda and Security Studies (JIPSS). I hold a Ph.D. in Political Science from the University of Muenster, Germany and an MA in International Studies from the University of Sheffield, United Kingdom. My doctoral thesis concentrated on the evolution of India’s security role in the Indo-Pacific region. My research interests include Indo-Pacific security and geopolitics, nuclear proliferation and strategy.

Let me give you a brief background about my professional journey as well. Before joining JIPSS, I was involved with the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty (CTBT) Youth Group where I was the Coordinator for India (2018-2019). Prior to my PhD, from Dec 2012 to Jan 2015, I was a Senior Research Fellow in the International Strategic and Security Studies Programme (ISSSP) at the National Institute of Advanced Studies (NIAS), Bangalore, India. Before that, I was an Associate Fellow at the Centre for Land Warfare Studies (CLAWS), New Delhi (Mar 2010- Oct 2012). While at CLAWS, I was the Editor of Scholar Warrior, a bi-annual Journal of the institution.

I believe that you are on my webpage because of your interest in foreign policy, international relations and security studies. I hope you enjoy my writings!
